training

1.Shooting Rangs
This is a very important drill, the officer needs to profect his/her shooting to become a SWAT Team member! You dont ever want to miss!! Most SWAT Team members have to shoot at least 90% or better to stay on the team.
2. Tire House
A tire house is just simply a house made of old tires and plywood, but without the roof! The tire house lets the team member, get the feel of clearing a room and what its like to be fired at!! (This is why its made of tires)
3. Real House
This is a real thing!!(ALMOST) This is when the member finds out weather or not he/she has what it takes to become a SWAT Team member. The team will be assembled, just like in a real call-up! CNT may use a bullhorn or a throw phone, and when all fails its time to gear up and make an entry!
4. Obstacle Course
The obstacle course, is also a very important feature to SWAT Training. A basic SWAT Obstacle Cource consist of a net up to twenty foot tall the officer must climb over, then he/she must climb over a five to ten foot wall, next he/she must craw under a board about two and a half foot tall, next the officer will climb over a wall just like the last, then he/she will climb a fence, and then a twenty foot wood wall that has a rope tied to it so they pull there selve up, next the officer must craw through a vent like thing and then go across monkey bars, after that they must then pull them selves across a rope and run through tires. This gives the SWAT Team member a great work out because he/she does this with full gear!!
